Decided to go with air and I'll probably sell of my water cooling stuff, or maybe I keep it around just in case I want to go back to it in the future. After spending all day drawing up my desk on SketchUp, I decided on a Dark Rock TF BK020 which should cool my system just fine with the amount of air space in the desk along with the fact that my overclock is very mild. I'll take the small performance hit over the Dark Rock Pro 4 or something like an NH-D15 because I think being able to see the coolers fan through the top glass of the desk will look about a million times better than the top of a heatsink with little heat pipe nubs on it. Also as a trivial bonus, it'll cool the motherboard much better than a typical tower cooler. Temps will be decent and noise through the 3/8" tempered glass (the inspiration for this build, I got it for free a year ago) and 3/4" desk top should be pretty silent.

Thank you everyone for your responses and suggestions.
