grand magic games

OK so I'm in the mood for a build I haven't been on this site in a while. 2 new kids work and all that took over gaming for awhile. Things have changed however and I now find myself out of work because of a disability. I am currently on long term disability from work and am awaiting a decision on SSDI. Hopefully my lawyer pulls it out for me and everything goes well. With that being said my build process may be slower than others. No worries about it though life happens its what we make of it. I know when I built my last rig you guys helped me quite a bit on it with overclocking so ill be glad to see the same input as this one progresses.
OK on to the goodies.
Processor AMD Ryzen 3600X.
GPU EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER BLACK GAMING Overclocked Dual-Fan 8GB GDDR6.
Motherboard Asrock X570 Phantom Gaming 4.
Ram G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3600 (PC4 28800).
PSU HX Series™ HX1050 Power Supply — 1050 Watt 80 PLUS® Gold Certified Modular PSU ( It's about 10 years old but has held up well so I'm going to give it a go and see what happens)
Case Cooler Master COSMOS 1000 RC-1000-KSN1-GP Black/ Silver Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case (Again it's about 10 years old but I think it still has lots of potential. Plus whats wrong with retro . )
Storage I will reuse my SSD and HD from previous build. I am unsure of their specs so I will list them at a later time.
Monitor AOC CU34G2X 34" QHD 144Hz HDMI DP FreeSync UltraWide Curved LED Gaming Monitor
Speakers Logitech G560
CPU cooling EK-Velocity RGB AMD Water Block - Nickel/Plexi
GPU cooling EK-VECTOR-RTX-RE-RGB-NP-D
Pump Swiftech MCP655-PWM 12v Water D5 Pump Module - PWM - Acetal ( no need for plexi as it will not be visible. )
Reservoir Barrow Composite version T-Virus Reservoir 210MM - Classic Black Top Cover with Purple Spiral
I havent ordered the radiators, fittings, tubing, cable sleeving, and a few other odds and ends yet as i need to get things on the table and start planing them out first.
This build will be themed after Fairy Tails grand magic games. Purple, black, white, and silver/gray will be the color schemes.
This build will alos include a custom mounting system for my monitor, keyboard, and mouse. It will sit around my recliner as that is where I am most comfortable when gaming. I will more than likely build it from PVC and paint it black. The monitor and keyboard will be on swivels so I can move them out of the way to get up. Ideas on what to use that would be cheap and be more aesthetically pleasing are welcome. i bought a vesa mount already. It is a this one https://www.microcenter.com/product/...onitors-13--27 .
I plan on cutting the bottom portion off, moving the arm to the center, and sliding the PVC over it. The mount for the swivel keyboard will be along the same lines. A pole that will slide into the PVC with a tray mounted to it to house the keyboard and mouse pad. So anything that fits those parameters and looks better will be taken as suggestions.
I will not be working on this Wednesday through Saturday as that is when I have my kids. That is unless of course my son wants to get involved. He will so expect a modest amount of cheesey grins from him along the way.
As always you guys stay safe and game on.

So this a pretty crude idea of what I want to do for my monitor stand. It will likely have a few braces in there and a set of shelves on either side level with the arms of my chair. One will hole my rig so I can admire my beauty and of course have eyes on the flow meter to foresee any problems. The other side will have a cup holder, usb plug for my phone, and a stand for my headset. I think I will box the bottom portion around the shelves for aesthetic reasons. Depending on how things go tomorrow I may go purchase materials to start building that. I'm going to go make a better drawing of it and Ill post a pic of it when I'm done.

Did some measuring and thinking and all that stuff. I made a quick rendering of what I am going to be doing for the monitor/keyboard stand and it looks terrible . I'll make up a better one tomorrow that way I can plan out the pieces I need to buy and how much pvc I will need. While I was measuring and planing I ran into a problem with the vesa mount I bought...... it's not long enough. grr. I think the simplest solution is to cut one of the arms and slug it. It isn't that much shorter than what I need so I think it will be fine just adding three inches of length to it. I will have to cut it first and take it with me to home depot to find a piece to insert into it. Other than that I think I am done for tonight. Time for a beer and watch some anime. I will update with more tomorrow.

Well i didn't go right to sleep last. It's like that most nights. I stay awake for 2 days atleast once aweek;(. But I got a few drawings done to help me plan the stand. I will make a Home Depot run tomorrow so I can start some assembly. That means today I need to get the arm on the vesa mount cut as well as the bottom of the pole that holds it in place. Here are the drawings I did. Mind you I told you the first one was terrible.

Stupid credit card companies. Locked my card for suspicious activities. However when I did actually have a fraud I didn't get my money back. Sent them a police report and everything. OK I am off my soap box. Time to do a little work. I had to make a run to Home Depot to get a new cutting wheel for my grinder. I picked up stuff for my honey dew list to so I won't be getting a whole lot done today. I'll post pic's of my progress.

Well like I said I didn't get much done today. But anything is progress. so I used the pole surround to mark the pole and still whacked the cut up. It won't matter much the pvc will cover it. As for the arm I couldn't get my square to sit on it to mark so I just eyeballed it and again it is all whacked up. Ill take it to my bench grinder before assembly and purdy it up some.

So a trip to Home Depot and I got everything to put the armature and pole in place inside the pipe. I also bought all the pipe I need and a few other odds and ends. The fittings shown are going back as I purchased different ones from Formufit. I am hurting pretty good from all the driving around and cutting the pipe to fit in the truck at Home Depot so I may have to wait until tomorrow to get anymore done.
