Hi everyone, I'm putting together a build using the Lian Li PC TU100 Case
CURRENT STATUS: UPDATE! BUILD IS DONE
(Waiting on 1 Y cable fan splitter....but otherwise done!!!)
Will post some more photos and writeup later but here is the final build and parts. I'm behind on life after sinking hours into this build but when I get caught up I'll share more details on the build.
Feet are pretty good might change out later if I come across a better aftermarket leg/knob option.
I've wanted to build a portable PC using this case for over 5 years and finally decided to go ahead with a build. What I liked (obsessed?) about this case is the briefcase handle and design, along with the front CD drive bay and USB ports.
I haven't officially built a PC before, though I've researched and picked out parts and had a couple assembled in store in the past.
Here's what I've got in the works, I was inspired by: https://pcpartpicker.com/b/q9zYcf
whom he was inspired by: https://www.overclock.net/forum/1808...completed.html
The goal is a no compromise portable streaming build. By no compromise I mean I want to have the Blu-ray drive (I like them) a fast GPU and a capture card.
I was curious if any Mini Itx motherboards had 2 PCIE slots and they all don't, but, after Googling I found out about PCIE Bifurcation https://hardforum.com/threads/pcie-bifurcation.1870298/
where you can split the 16x PCIE slot in two 8x slots. So I bought this Bifurcation Riser by C_Payne on eBay https://peine-braun.net/shop/index.p...&product_id=87
with the goal having the GPU and Capture card in the same mini ITX build
Here are the parts I have for the build: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/wRhHmg
I chose the Quadro P2000 for its performance and because it's one of the very few slim single slot GPUs on the market. And after eyeing the build https://pcpartpicker.com/b/q9zYcf
here I could tell it was just the right fit.
For the capture card I already have the Elgato HD60 Game Capture PRO
which due to it's small size works with the configuration I have in mind.
I'll post the build log tomorrow it's getting a bit late and I want to include more details. Thanks for checking out the log!
