NZXT H1 | i5-10600K | RTX 30X0* Mini-ITX Build Log
Bit of history
My very first PC build was way back 2009, started with AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition with AMD Radeon HD 6970 Crossfire build for Battlefield 3 specific. Later got upgrade to Nvidia GeForce GTX 680 SLI for the same game. Around 2011, I move the entire system to X79 platform with i7-3930k clocking at 4.8Ghz with 32GB ram at 2133Mhz clock and a GeForce GTX TITAN (gen 1) card. In 2016, GTX TITAN was replaced with GTX 1080 Ti. The full custom water loop was added later, cost almost $8000 CAD the entire build until 2017.
2017 - build was sold nearly $2.5k - switched down to ASUS Zephyrus GX501 with GTX 1080 Max-Q. Need to travel a lot during my career and space problem in apartment renting. +Moved at least three times between 2017 to 2019 (landlord problems).
Late 2019, home owner of a condo. I have better space and I can settle for now. Now, 2020 - Cyberpunk 2077 target build, I know 2080 Super would be suffice for this game but I could wait since I am still hanging around with my Zephyrus rocking the BenQ EX3501R 3440x1440 100Hz. Can play most games except the new RTX titles run around low 30-40fps. *This is why there is an asterisk on the post title build.
