I have started my first ever case mod and work log. I am building my wife a custom case using :

Chieftech mini Dragon Case / Silver
MSI K9VGM-V motherboard
AMD Athlon 64 3200 single core proc.
2x1Gig PNY 3200 DDRII memory
350w nos power supply
1 LG DVD rom

Total cost of mod was $30 U.S. Dollars.
1 can of engine ceramic white Duplicolor.
1 can of engine ceramic blue Duplicolor.
Sandpaper.
Good old fashion elbow grease.
Wife did not want bay covers painted so I left them as is.

I am not sure of the model number but it is old. Here are some listings on models today. System is already built in an old Antec case that I want to mod.http://www.chieftecusa.com/dragon.htmMy brother gave me the case after someone cut a blowhole out of the top. Nothing major to do but cut and clean hole for 120mm fan on top, sand, prep, cut front panel and set new design with 80mm or 92mm fan. Paint inside white with light blue light. I hope this goes as smooth as silk but it should come out looking good.
Pics will be added as mod goes along. Sorry if pics don't look right but I am using a Camcorder to shoot with.

Well she is done for now. I still need my fans but she is complete and running. Its not the greatest but I think it looks good. The top fan has 4 colors and glows a little. I still need the front and rear blue led fans to top it off. The motherboard looks great with the white back ground. Thanks all for views and in put. Admin file her away. I will try a total ground up build next.

Thanks CattleRustler I hope I have the talent to mod. I have enjoyed everyone else mods and figured with 5 old cases sitting idle why not give it a try. I even have an old desktop pizza box I am thinking of making a work station out of. My biggest thing is funds, waiting on new job call now. Congrats on your new build also.

Can anyone tell me how many led's I can run off one jumper from the motherboard? I can connect the front panel led back after paint and was considering adding a few accent lights spliced into the wires for the power led. When powered on the accent lights would come on with the power led. Also hd light as well. Thinking of makeing a plexiglass image, back side painted black, drill hole for light into the side of glass so when hd activity would flash pattern.

Thanks Chuck D
