Atx/eps connectors

I have just purchased a new psu and it comes with an 8 pin eps connector and 2x4 atx connectors. My motherboard has one 8 pin slot and one 4 pin slot next to it, I want to utilize both since I have a 9900k cpu and 2x rtx 2080ti sli (currently one but will be getting a second). Just wanted to know if I'm fine to plug in the 8 pin eps plug in the 8 pin slot and one of the 4 pin atx plugs into the other 4 pin slot?

Dont bother with a second GPU its waste of time and money and SLI is pretty much dead and gone

As for the 4 pin you dont need to use it unless you are doing extreme overclocking

I have 2080ti and the second one is to gain some more fps and I definitely want to use the extra 4 pin, just need to know if I plug it as mentioned above, will it be ok?

You don't need to plug in the 4 pin at all. It's gimmick. Useless. You will not gain extra FPS in like 60% of existing games so keep that in mind.
