Need help overclocking new pc

hey guys im new to overclocking, i currently just built a new pc and wanna get the best out of it. my pc specs are:

CPU:Intel® Core™ Processor i9-7960X Sixteen-Core 2.80GHz 22MB Intel

Read a guide. OCing hasn't changed in many generations.

I tried enabling XMP profile in my bios and my computer wouldn't boot after i did that.
