Due to having a small financial boost, plus time on my hands (Thanks COVID-19) I finally built myself a PC;
- R5 1600AF. (Stock cooler for now.)
- MSI B450 Tomahawk Max.
- Sapphire RADEON RX 580 8GB GDDR5 PULSE.
- G.Skill 16GB 3200 MHz 2X8.
- Corsair CX550M 550Watt 80 PLUS Bronze.
- Samsung 860 EVO 500G.
- Seagate HDD 1T 7200rpm.
Built it in under 2 hours, mainly thanks to watching months worth of Linus, Jay, Steve and other YouTube tech Gurus.
After coming from a potato (X3995...) the difference is huge, no more 20-30 fps lowest settings at 720p on older games for me!
Now it's AAA all the way, with high to ultra at 1080p or even 1440p!
But as with all fallible beings, I'm not quite content yet, I know that this new rig is overclock-able so here I am.
I have a lot to learn but figured that this would be a good place to find a little advice and see what other enthusiasts are getting up to.
