Should I RMA my HDD again?

Recently i had problems with one of my HDD being extremely slow and yellow warning on Crystal Disk, after that I switched my windows and boot drive to another HDD (ST2000DM008) which I only used for games and steam, but when i started using it for Windows i noticed A LOT of stuttering doing the almost everything, especially when installing something or sending files to it. I ran some tests on HD tune and got these results https://imgur.com/a/92aDsbY which I interpreted as a bad HDD and sent it to RMA.

After almost a month, I got a new HDD from RMA and been using for the last 2 weeks, but since it arrived i've been feeling the HDD has the same problems from the old one (even thought they sent the same HDD but the serial number is different) and a lot of stuttering/freezing programs happening, especially when installing a game or transfering files, also when i try to install ANY game from steam it keeps going to 0 mb/s and disk usage drops like hell (this never happened until this new HDD

So i got to test this new HDD and for my suprise the results seem pretty similar to the old HDD I sent to RMA and even some speeds look WORST than the old one, so can anyone actually help me looking at these results and actually telling me if the HDD has a problem or not before I open RMA again? Because if I need to use warranty again for something they already sent me I need to be absolute sure to fight for a decent HDD to be sent to me this time. These are the new results https://imgur.com/a/1PtKcGp

Did you try using another SATA cable and port?
The drop to 0 MB/s is a bug you get if you install the AMD HDD drives by the way so are you using AMD?

I had that problem with drives dropping to 0 MB/s and it took me weeks of tearing the system apart and sending stuff to RMA only for it to be driver problem and a clean Windows install fixed all the problems thats why i know it was a driver problem and in the end it was never a hardware problem and there was nothing wrong with any of my 5 HDD´s

Yes, i am using AMD, but i only installed the chipset drivers for AMD I think. Also this is a fresh windows installation since this HDD is new from RMA, i tried looking for hardware drivers for this but it had no drivers available so i don't think it's a HDD driver issue, I will try to get some new sata cables i have and use it in another USB port aswell and post the results in a while

Go into device manager and look what driver you are using if you are using the standard SATA AHCI controller like you see in the picture below then its not that
If however you are using the AMD SATA AHCI controller then that is the problem and you need to remove it

And you mean SATA port not USB port right?

This is the test using a new cable and another SATA port and still the same results, I will try next to change the sata power cable but i don't think the results will change. Also I like to remember that the steam problem is just one of the problems i'm having, I also get a LOT of stuttering/freezing when the HDD is doing some installations or transfering and also when gaming. Also it's pretty weird that by the end of the test the speed just goes UP and try to estabilize even with the sudden drops https://imgur.com/a/LPFzG3D

yep, I'm using the SATA port, the driver name is the standard SATA AHCI Controller so i think this isn't the problem :/

Is this the problem you have?

Those are my videos and i spent weeks trying to fix the fault only for it to be what i think was the AMD drives since a fresh windows install fixed all the problems
And try another SATA cable if the cable and/or port is only half broken they can cause a ton of problems

I also had this problem for transfering some files but i don't know if they still persist today, also i'm using a new windows installation so if this is a driver issue it's something windows is installing everytime, so i have no clue which driver is causing it and i don't know if reinstalling windows again will change anything

Sory then i am out of ideas other than try another SATA cable and port or try the drive in another PC if you have access to any
If the drive is working with no problems in another machine then its not the drive its something in your machine

No way - I had the 0mb/s problem along with hard drives randomly dropping out and thought it was my motherboard going bad. I definitely had installed all the relevant AMD drivers too.
