Are you drunk or what you dont have a clue what you are talking about Seagate are not worse than WD and not all of their drives suck so worst post of the year material right there
Edit: have you owned a Seagate drive in the last 10 years or are you just spreading the old myths and misinformation
When it is empty it only has to read from the center edge of the platter which is faster. The more data you add to it the slower it gets. Because it will need to access data at far edge of the platter. De-fragmenting it will help a little. But you aren't going to get the same speeds as you had when it was empty.
