Gen 4 NVME Crystal disk Mark 7 results

Anyone have a gen 4 NVME they can post their results? When I first installed the aorus gen4 1tb nvme, I was getting pretty good benchmarks with passmark and crystal disk mark 7. I notice my score down in passmark frrom 99% down to 91%.
The only difference in crystal is RND4k Q32T16 Write speed. I'm not sure why that write rate is less then half the speed for that bench. I'm wondering if the higher score was due to the fact the drive was nearly empty.
It's still fast but just wondering what a typical crystal disk mark would be.

For the last couple of weeks I noticed the slower benchmarks on my drive and figured, oh well. I post in the forum. I decided to run passmark to test my video settings. Disk scores back to normal?
Ran Crystal disk on the test that seemed to slow down. Now that's back to normal. I did nothing within the last couple of hours to my settings.
Again, I don't get it. I'll admit, I don't get strange things like this on my 9700k build. I still won't go back to intel just yet though.

Nice! I know they all use the same phison controller but I think the corsair has a better heatsink. Ever since I water cooled the PCH trying to track down airflow issues, my crystaldiskmark is more consistent

I agree. I just wanted the copper heat sink lol. I am thinking about picking up the corsair and do a raid. Doing a raid on a gen 3 nvme on the x570 elite board was slow compared to my z390 meg ace board. The latency and inconsistency was bad with the amd raid. Plus I had a heck of a time getting the raid drivers to work until I diskpart cleaned it. Maybe gen4 would work better.

Hi,
Kind of a bummer about z490 boards or at least asus no room for real heatsinks under their shields
Thankfully I'm returning the formula for an apex which has the dimm m.2 card like my x299 has works fine with my blow style heatsink
