Several years since my last build - Which benchmark tools and other software?

Hey all, it's been a good number of years since I built an overclocked gaming rig, and I haven't really been keeping up with the benchmarking software and other useful tools since then. I'm building two new PC's in the next two weeks, so my question is simple:

What suite of benchmarking and other useful tools should I gather before I start?

My New System:
PCPartPicker Part List
CPU: Intel Core i7-9700K 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i RGB PLATINUM SE 63 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Thermal Compound: ARCTIC MX4 4 g Thermal Paste
Motherboard: ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming-ITX/ac Mini ITX LGA1151 Motherboard
Memory: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory
Storage: Samsung 970 Evo Plus 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive
Video Card: EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER 8 GB XC GAMING Video Card
Case: NZXT H210 Mini ITX Tower Case (white)
Power Supply: Corsair SF 750 W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully Modular SFX Power Supply
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit
Case Fan: Corsair LL120 RGB White with Lighting Node PRO 63 CFM 120 mm Fans
Monitor: Asus VG248QE 24.0" 1920x1080 144 Hz Monitor
Monitor: LG 34GK950F-B 34.0" 3440x1440 144 Hz Monitor
Keyboard: G.Skill RIPJAWS KM780 RGB Wired Gaming Keyboard
Mouse: Logitech G703 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Optical Mouse

My Daughter's First Gaming System (I'm helping her build it):
PCPartPicker Part List
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: ARCTIC Freezer 34 eSports DUO CPU Cooler
Motherboard: Gigabyte B450 I AORUS PRO WIFI Mini ITX AM4 Motherboard
Memory: G.Skill Trident Z RGB 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory

The Samsung 970 Evo is way overpriced and any of these are almost as good and way cheaper
https://www.overclock.net/forum/355-...2-toshiba.html

Same story with Windows 10 $100 is the ripoff of the century when you can buy a legal digtal key online for as little as $10 and its not illegal to do so
The Asus VG248QE uses a TN panel which means the color reproduction and the viewing angle sucks so the AOC 24G2U which uses an IPS panel would be a far better option

Not all B450 motherbords will work with the 3600 not unless the BIOS has been updated and there is no way to know if that board has a new BIOS or not but the MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX will have an updated BIOS

The Asus TUF has one of the worst coolers ever put on a GPU and nonexistent quality control so pick any other card
And last Razer keyboards are overpriced rubbish and wont last very long under heavy use

For my new build, Fast n' Cheap - in sig, I used Heaven, Valley, Superposition, 3D Mark, CINEBENCH R15, Neon Noir and I intended to OC with x264 Benchmark HD v5.0.1, Prime95 v.27.9 win64 (2012-12-12) and Memtest86. Since OC'ing AMD was not worth it (as it boosts to 4.4GHz anyway and I bought 32GB (2x16GB) 3600MHz CL16 RAM), I did not bother with the last 3 stress tests. Also playtest with some games.

Thank you for the feedback on the builds themselves, but all of the parts are already here or on the way. I'm only asking about the software tools I could gather ahead of time due to the fact that it's been so long since I did my last benchmarking and overclocking.

That said...
1. The cost for the Samsung doesn't bother me. I wasn't pinching many pennies with these builds.
2. I'm picking up a few good Windows keys from another source, not retail.
3. I already have both of the Asus VG248QE monitors from my old setup. I also think 144Hz 1ms TN panels still make pretty damn good screens for many eSports-style games -- especially these particular Asus screens.
4. I did the research on the motherboard before ordering it. The Gigabyte board I chose is supposedly shipping with 3600 compatibility out of the box now, so I guess I'll see if that's true soon enough. (The MSI Tomahawk doesn't come in a mini ITX form factor, so that wouldn't work anyways).
5. The Razer keyboard can be replaced if my daughter manages to destroy it. I just wanted a cheap RGB that allows individual key programming. It may be the least researched part of the bunch, so thank you for the heads-up on the quality!

Fantastic info, thank you!

Are CPUZ and GPUZ still the preferred methods for viewing specs, or is there something better? Also, are there any OC tools specific to the two Nvidia GPUs that I should look for? (I used to use MSI Afterburner, etc)
