That is some Horrendous power consumption.... The really needed to upgrade their IPC.

"MOAR CORES (tm)" doesn't work for the majority of PC users (including gamers)

So basically, for this:

AMD FX-8150 @ ~4.8GHz
AMD Radeon HD 6950
8GB DDR3 1600MHz

You'd need a 1000w PSU?

Component History:
Athlon 950 Thunderbird > Athlon 64 LE-1620 > Athlon x2 4850e > Phenom II x3 720BE > Core i5-2500K > Ryzen 7 1700
GeForce2 MX400 > Radeon HD 4650 > Radeon HD 5770 > Radeon HD 6850 > Radeon HD 6950 > Radeon R9 290 > GeForce GTX 1080 Ti
Current Devices:
Ryzen Workstation - 13" Macbook Pro - iPhone X - Galaxy Note 5 - Fire HD 7
Audio:
Kef Q100 Mains - Micca MB42X Surrounds - Outlaw Audio Ultra-X12 Subwoofer - Yamaha RX-V675 AVR - Fidelio X2 Headphones

Absolutely ridiculous

The only thing I'm really pissed about is the fact that I didn't listen to my gut and go Intel months ago.
Instead I waited... and waited... hopeful that the FX would outshine Intel. /sigh
