Last night I stuck 'Nvidia 870' stickers on my 570s. When I woke up this morning my E-Peen had grown so much that it made it hard to pee.

Guys read the blog entry, it says they will be showing "the latest AMD Radeon™ graphics cards". This likely does NOT mean we will see a new desktop lineup announced.

GAME ON!!!!!

Pfft, that's nothing. I directly upgraded my 660's architecture by pouring some Maxwell House coffee into the blower fan and wrapping the outer shroud with the label...

Pretty sure both AMD and nvidia get ripped for rebadges. No mutually exclusivity.

I remember the thread when the 8970 OEMS were announced, plenty of grobbling.

But rebadged OEM parts are nothing new.

As for AMD at E3, I can see latest graphics cards being 7990, though it would be better PR for them if they demo the next gen. They've been showing off Kaveri at Computex so why not Jaguar (console), Kaveri, and next gen discrete at E3.

I have a feeling that you are correct, the wording does not suggest next generation.

Probably not the 8970, but I can hope. The timing is pretty good, to counter nvidias 780... Anyway, can't wait for the new AMD cards...
