ASUS’s high-performance and workstation grade, X99-E WS motherboard has been unveiled prior to its launch tomorrow. The ASUS X99-E WS is a workstation motherboard featuring high quality components which ensure stability plus a neat black and silver color scheme which looks amazing on the new motherboard. In addition to the ASUS X99-WS, the ROG Rampage V Extreme and ASUS X99 Deluxe motherboards have also been leaked.

Oooh yum. Linus is apparently a fan of WS boards. Seven full length slots! That's nuts.

Audio is half the experience

I've no need for it. Heck, I've no need for even a Deluxe. But that is one of the best looking motherboard as of recently. Glad they went with silver instead of tacky gold.

That!

But imo the board would lok even better with a silver(ish) IO shield.

That looks so much better, both functionally, and aesthetically, than all the stupid "gamer" boards that are so popular these days.

Deluxe or WS... tough decision ahead.

Also, awkward position for the extra 6 pin power for the PCIE.

I think this might be the board I get. And I actually didn't know about a workstation variant being released either. A nice suprise.

Probably this overclocks just as good as the RVE. Unless on LN2 or something.
