Wow jsutter, absolutely amazing and designed by Charles Harwood. It won't be your last CaseLabs purchase, they are coming back.

Share these photos and the installation photos with us in the CaseLabs forum. please.

Now that caselabs is a thing of the past, any suggestions on fabricators for custom parts? Looking for a dual res panel for my sma8-a. Pretty simple part, could even be a flat sheet of alu. But what sort of paints should we be using to match?

I actually have one of their cases at work, I guess their black wrinkle is close enough...wonder if they'd be down to do custom.

How do you know this? Seems to me that CaseLabs is done and it's permanent, based on what they said on their fB page.

AFAIK custom is there jam,i haven't seen their crinkle coat, my case is semi gloss/gloss. i also know my case as well as just about any they offer comes with tons of offers and believe they can do custom stuff. i'm assuming all of their stuff is water jetted or laser cut.

It came with zero instuctions so I'm going to be using the SMA8 instructions for mounting. I still have questions. First is how to mount the LED brackets since their is little to no info on how to properly do it. Only that their are a few options on positioning. Second question I partially answered myself. Will the luminous panel work with my Aqua Computer farbwerk. The answer is yes. It looked very nice. My only concern is if the farbwerk is providing enough power to achieve maximum brightness. each connection provides a maximum power rating of 2.5 A. I have 2 Farbwerks on my system and even though I find them useful for the most part I've discovered inconsistent connectors. Using the same strip, connector, and color settings I've found that the colors don't always match. I also have 2 broken farbwerks sitting on my workbench at the moment that I use for testing. Caselabs provides no details pertaining to power requirements for those luminous panels. Not cool.

It's never happened to me, therefore the problem mustn't exist. Beautiful logic.

Yup. It's already written in the history books. No one is immune from it.
