Yup, black Friday they will be around $2100-2300 for 65" just like the C8 I bought late last year.

The largest discounts for new sets will be end of the cycle right when the new gens are releasing. B865 for $1450 no tax +FS, and C865 for $1750 recently. 9th gen will follow next year, just in time for HDMI 2.1 GPUs.

Seems like I'll be waiting until the 2020 LG's at least until NVIDIA supports HDMI 2.1.

This is what I do to keep in save as a PC monitor.

1) No Icons on the screen.
2) Automatically hide the taskbar.
3) Slideshow for Wallpaper that changes every 30 min and I keep ~ 10-15 pictures. I change these regularly.

4) Turn it off when I leave the room.
5) Make sure I do not forget video/youtube open because it will keep the screen/windows from going to sleep.
Good call on the icons! There's a stardock app that will group icons up and will show/hide them. It's called Fences. I'd buy that if I had OLED I think.

2019 isn't quite ready yet, almost there though. I'll also wait till 2020 and then maybe we get better VRR support as well as higher refresh rates.

Where did you get it for that price? One of those, "it fell off the back of the truck" Amazon 3rd party sellers?

Yeah like a really bad song on the radio that the station keeps repeating and repeating.
In time you find yourself tapping your foot and singing along.
It's like being programed.
