LG 2019 OLEDs have HDMI 2.1, in theory at least, but we won’t know how well it works until GPU makers support it.
I’m shocked that TV manufacturers of all people seem to have actually listened before the GPU companies. At this point the lack of HDMI2.1 on the market today is entirely AMD and Nvidia’s fault when they still came out and shipped entirely new cards in 2019 without the spec.

I expect this panel to come from LG like most dell panels. So either way, it is a win for LG.

Whenever a GPU finally comes out with HDMI 2.1 support, it will be ready for that too.
And this is why the Dell is DOA.

Also the same size qled 8k, that should also do 4k120 (if it follows the same pattern as the 1440p120 4k qled) is $1k less. But qled's blacks and viewing angles are worse.

I'm surprised AW is still in business, maybe that Dell purchase saved them from going totally under with the products they make that nearly no one will buy.

to be fair, their laptops have always been top notch. IMO that's why they're still around.

Even with the correction/update confirming it is DP1.4, at a price of $3999 compared to C9's @ $1600 that have HDR and HDMI 2.1... it's probably DOA. Imagine how much Dell/AW would charge for a G-Sync Ultimate iteration!
