Looks like Alienware is about to do a redesign to the entire lineup. The new OLED TV and the new Area 51m laptop distinctly share the same redesign language but looks quite different than the rest of the original lineup. I'm not really liking the new look even though it looks more "clean" as I feel the unique looks of Alienware are the only thing that separates itself from the rest of the competition (sure as hell isn't the hardware, because everything Alienware uses is complete made-in-China OEM garbage).

People say competition, but in reality, it's just LG competing with themselves lol.

same, my desk is wall mounted and only 30" deep, so even if I wall mounted a 55" monitor would be in the same boat with the head swiveling. Definitely need a 42ish" variant.

goes to show you have absolutely no idea what you're taking about

the A51 R3 had 1500W fully modular 80+G PSU from Delta, a server-grade supplier
mobo and GPU was MSI
the SSD in my XPS was a Samsung NVMe

where are your computer components or iPhone made in? Germany? Japan?

oh right, the exact same assembly line as Dell at Foxconn.

get off your high horse.

i'm not sure how they can achieve 4k120, not possible with a single DP 1.4
i'd figure if the dual HDMI ports are 2.1 they would've mentioned it

this could very much be vapourware like that silly RoG UW 200Hz
let's not forget it was Dell who announced a 4K120 30" OLED only to ship it a year or two later as a 4K60 with a price cut...

4K/120 at 8-bit full RGB HDR works just fine on DP 1.4. The only thing it can't do is 10-bit color at 4K/120.

2x DP 1.4 can't do 10-bit 8K

if this actually comes out this year, isn't cutting back on features, and is well-reviewed
i'll put the UP3017Q on the market for one
