VEGA 7nm hype!

I believe the reference GPU will have a strong VRM as VEGA64.

60 CU @ 1.8GHz
25% more performance at same power
16GB HBM
1 TB/s memory bandwidth

edit: Feb 7 for $699 , bundled with DMC5 + Division 2 + Resident Evil 2

nVidia gave them the perfect opportunity to release Vega 2 now the question is the cost. Just like Lisa mentioned at the start of the event scaling is becoming more difficult and there is a premium. The question will be if that 25% performance is worth the extra premium.

It's fine if it's between 2080Ti and 2080. AMD delivers competition.

Which is about right. Vega 64 with decent cooling is atleast 1600mhz, this card has a 200mhz advantage and literally over twice the bandwidth.

The real question is release date and price...

Well competing with the 2080 is a good start, doesn't do much for us 1080ti owners but it is a good start.
