I suspect that Radeon VII is an inside play on Roman Numerals at AMD and that "VII" really means Vega 2. Might be time to ditch these 580's I'm running.

I went ahead and picked one up as well. I couldn't resist the urge play with something new and I am sick of giving money to Nvidia. I don't exactly know what I am going to do with it but I will figure something out.

I got prematurely excited with the rumor of pro drivers but I don't think I actually need them for anything.

You should wait for the V-3 , it was a cannon.
Stupid naming on AMD part in my view, or lack of imagination.
The V naming scheme is stupid.
