Expecting 1070 Ti performance would be unrealistic after the release of the RTX 2060, because that's how that card performs.

no OC benchmarks? was somewhat anticipating it's OC headroom considering all of those gimmicks were taken out, leaving less current leakage points to consider.
plus theres supposedly a significantly higher power headroom too, full 8pin PCIe and the stock power consumption is only around 130W.

trolling an adult is very dangerous, don't try it at home nor at work. you don't want to play tag with a rabid man.

2045 Mhz on this model. TPU has a bunch of reviews of different GTX 1660 Ti models.

i see, so a 2000Mhz average overclock across different models, not much different from the other Turing cards.

Sure but its also missing RTX. I would much rather have it even on 2060 level.

I wouldn't. DLSS is a trainwreck and ray tracing at 2060 level is an appetizer of an appetizer. Also, it comes with the same amount of VRAM, which makes it an outlier in its performance class - all other cards near it and even below it have 8 GB - the GTX 1070, 1070 Ti, 1080, Vega 56 and 64, thus making it a likely card to start showing problems in the future. It already does here and there in a game or two in the frame times.

Having said that, the truth is, I will simply skip everything made on 12nm, none of it is enticing enough, there are just some better than others. I'm waiting for AMD's 7nm Navi and Nvidia's 7nm line-up. That's where some really enticing jumps can happen - and with proper ray tracing capabilities too.

I don't see why to buy 1660Ti for for almost RTX 2060 price when with RTX 2060 you get BF5 (€59.99) or Anthem (€79.99)for FREE.
P.S- or just buy RTX 2060, get Anthem and sell it easy for ~$30 and you got better GPU and same price as 1660Ti :-).
Edit:ASUS AREZ Strix Radeon RX Vega 56 @ $399 pop just now:

i just checked my local stores, they got the 1660Ti models priced too high.

for example:
$372 = Palit RTX 2060 Gaming Pro OC
$314 = Palit GTX 1660 Ti StormX OC

if we look at it in terms of perf/$ its roughly the same...

Well this seems a little better than the rest of the new lineup. I'm still fairly disappointed in what Nvidia has accomplished with this generation, really disappointed if we factor in pricing.

If you like those games, sure, but your mileage may vary. They both seem to be disappointing games for different reasons.

Yeah, the higher end 1660 Ti's don't make much sense, considering the high base price. It only makes sense like that MSI Ventus model, which is at MSRP.
