Eh, for some RT is cool and all; but the 2060 gets 41 FPS at 1080p with RTX on high. That is low enough that you would be better off without it IMO. Hell, the 2070 is only at 50 FPS. $350+ and $500+ for such low frame rates seems insane to me. https://www.techspot.com/article/179...ing-benchmark/
These fell right where expected by many including myself, beginning just under the 2060. For anyone hoping there will be higher end units in the GTX series your wasting your wishes. The lines are now drawn.
As a business model looking forwards, it makes sense your going to see the line drawn in the sand between capabilities like this for at least another generation. As the minimum specs for raytracing are met by lower end cards, the feature will become available at lower named units effectively moving the line down the chart. As such the naming convention will also slide down this list until it overtakes the bottom.
