I'd be hard pressed to justify buying Turing and not getting RTX features to be honest.

uhh.... Ventus is actually more expensive than the StormX here.

and yes, the store owner here has a few screw loose, if you know what i mean.
for example, he still has a lot of GTX 1070s priced higher than the RTX 2060.

the tensor core is pretty much the only thing of interest with Turing, just like a cheaper version of the Titan Volta card.

I'm not all that impressed. I feel like if your going to spend the money then your better off with the RTX 2060 instead or be looking for something on the used market.

Nah, I love ray tracing. Have you seen what it can do in Metro? And that's just the start!

Eh, for some RT is cool and all; but the 2060 gets 41 FPS at 1080p with RTX on high. That is low enough that you would be better off without it IMO. Hell, the 2070 is only at 50 FPS. $350+ and $500+ for such low frame rates seems insane to me. https://www.techspot.com/article/179...ing-benchmark/

Yeah I'm glad Microsoft made DxR extremely simple to implement into current DirectX 12 game engines! Once AMD releases their DxR cards the ball will start rolling.

These fell right where expected by many including myself, beginning just under the 2060. For anyone hoping there will be higher end units in the GTX series your wasting your wishes. The lines are now drawn.

As a business model looking forwards, it makes sense your going to see the line drawn in the sand between capabilities like this for at least another generation. As the minimum specs for raytracing are met by lower end cards, the feature will become available at lower named units effectively moving the line down the chart. As such the naming convention will also slide down this list until it overtakes the bottom.
