That controller looks uncomfortable.

The PS1 controller is a SNES controller with handles glued on, Sony didn’t even add sticks until after all their competitors had one, it is the least original design in gaming history and still isn’t really suitable for 3D gaming (The PS4 controller is a step in the right direction, at least it’s wide enough you don’t smash your thumbs into each other as much anymore, but the sticks could still be more in line with the grip and the triggers really suck).
People who like the Playstation controller are like people who think wooden seats are comfortable, the only reason to like it is just because it’s all they had growing up.

There's an alternative theory. I know it's super farfetched, but hear me out: maybe, different people prefer different designs; kind of like mice.

You know, the same mental process whereby I don't think people who love the Rival 310 suffer from a tragic malady.

Wouldn't mind giving it a try on PC as long as it's sturdy.
I'm kinda sick of controllers which break in one way or another in a year on average. It's either the left stick or the triggers that die.

Nah. PS controller buttons are like pushing rocks through a cheese grater cutout.

ive been using the same xbox 360 controller since 2010, and the only thing thats gone wrong is the rubber padding on the right stick has began to wear off.

Well, if 2 whole people dislike the Playstation controller, who am I to disagree? The thing is, clearly, trash.
