Given that their entire model is poaching games off of other gaming systems, of course the controller is just going to mimic established design.
Can they make compelling games? Can they do anything with Streaming that can’t be done on local hardware?
If not then the whole project is doomed before they even announce it.
Hopefully the best thing to come out of this will be a hardware standard to allow game developers to sell old console ports and convince the market to use third party game stores like Epic did.
Ultimately we need the actual Steam store running real ARM based games on Android. This would be a perfect project for CD Project RED to expand GoG.com into new markets. Nvidia almost had a good thing going but they locked it down to limited hardware.
There’s no reason for the mobile market to operate any differently from the PC market.
