[Hexus.net] Turtle Beach purchasing Roccat for $19.2mill

Source: https://m.hexus.net/business/news/ge...t-192-million/

"Turtle Beach has entered into an agreement to purchase Roccat."

"The deal, revealed alongside Turtle Beach's Q4 and FY2018 results, is worth $19.2 million in cash, stock, and earn-out payments to the current owners of Roccat."

Not sure how I feel about this one. I've always loved Roccat products and currently own two of their Ryos Mechanical keyboards.

I have a man'o'war headset...ended up uninstalling their software due to the fact that microphone level went all over the place all the time ruining my gaming experincing in team... I don't have fake surround audio but at least it functions as expected, don't think it will change in future even with this step but, who knows.....

Everyone had the idea that Roccat was a big company for some reason. Always wanted to get my hands on some of their mice due to them actually having supporting Linux software (which was discontinued a while back), but all their gear is rather pricey to get here in the Americas. Hopefully with TB buying them out Roccat's products would be easier/cheaper to get a hold of.

I always thought that they were a pretty sizable company as well. But I guess when I look at my local LAN events that I go to it really is like 90% Razor products and 10% everyone else.

I didn't know Turtle Beach was still around. I remember them selling sound cards back in the day.
