Really though, the card looks great. It doesn't impress me in the slightest since the cards could be 100% made in software BUT at least they aren't considering some ugly blue slab again lol.
I love how we're already assuming what Intel can or can't accomplish with an 8+6 pin.

Another midrange would be fine, if Intel has a way for mgpu to work with their latest chipset and a couple of Optane dimms

I wouldn't bet against Intel here. They have the brains and resources to get something done.

nVidia is dominant. They've been dominant a long time. But nothing lasts. Just ask Intel, they know it all too well. I expect them to come out swinging on both CPU and GPU fronts.

look at the little card real close, does it not look like the fan is dirty? Only that one looks dirty not the bigger one. Whats up with that?

What Intel will achieve in its early years of GPU development is what ATI would have done with money. You can see in late years where AMD was short of Nvidia because of budget cut but at the same time there where many design wins for AMD which still did not overcome Nvidias dominance. I personally think Intel will handle GPUs just like AMD is currently doing. Focus on what really makes them money and offer some GPU for gamers.

I have no idea if Intel is focusing on gaming, pro use or both in this arch so it's hard to say what to expect. Intel knows what the competition is and it would be silly to launch something that doesn't compete.

EDIT: I was also pointing out that there are indeed people that would buy it because Intel made it.

I'm really rooting for Intel in the GPU sector because they can provide more competition in that space for AMD and Nvidia. Definitely the underdogs in this case but I hope they can really challenge the other two in performance and value so that we can ultimately enjoy better and cheaper graphics solutions.
