I have been using this for years.

It's 20$. I am sure the premium feel is there for corsair, but I don't think it is worth an 80$ premium for essentially a more metal frame and a fancy volume knob.

every corsair peripherals i've bought (3 mice 2 KBs) needed to replaced/trashed within a few days/weeks; flaky scroll wheels, double reports.

no thanks, the el cheap-o CM setup i bought on sale at best buy "just works."

The K400 is great, as long as the one you purchased is great. I've had 4 of them over the years, one died an accidental death (never set your keyboard down on the couch), one was murdered, and two died randomly. It's a coin toss with logitech these days, and it doesn't matter if it's expensive or cheap. The mini one I got for $20 that has the tablet slot has been going strong for years, and it's had a much harder life than the living room keyboards.

Thats what I have, that thing sucks lol. I like the layout, handy how they put the mouse click on the left as well. But the response of the track pad is terrible, I am talking 5' away from the PC. Keystrokes as well, if you do anything other then hunt and peck (I am talking 20wpm) the text comes out all messed up.

It's nice that it still has bluetooth on board for connecting to a streaming device, I don't use one on my FireTV regularly but it's nice to connect one for account setups.

Time will tell if it's crap, but I'm willing to let go of a c-note to find out.
Lol, when you said "immature moment" I figured thats what you meant. I bet it felt good though!!

Yeah, went nuts like that german kid in the viral video. I had to reset my firetv so I had to re enter passwords and it kept stuttering with the keystrokes. After 10 minutes of it I had my fill and used it as a hammer to try and smash the coffee table, only things missing was some slow motion effects and Geto Boys playing in the background.

I really wonder why Logitech never released a successor to this piece that is still working for me after 10 years.....
All these new ones look so cheap to me especially when placed next to high-end Home Cinema gear....

Oh well....

I'd buy one in a second if it was around $50-60. $80 seems a bit steep for a wireless board, especially something that will probably get dropped a lot and/or sat on a few times by guests or whatever.
Feel like a cheap wireless keyboard and cheap remote with built in air-mouse would do me better for half the price.
