Just waiting for a VR headset that will allow me to read labels and spot targets clearly in my sim games; DCS, War Thunder, etc.

Once that happens, my wife may leave me, as I'll never leave my office.

What's the impact of VR headsets on eyes? Having the screen so close to the eyes?

I've been looking at VR headsets and I may purchase one in the next year or two as the offered products keep getting better... but more good games are needed.

VR is cool and all and I agree that the heatset needs to start becoming more streamlined and affordable. No way I'm paying $300 for a 1lb apparatus to wear on my head. I'm actually really interested in goggle screens for normal games, I feel like having the game in 3D using this could be cool but if it were as simple as small, highish res 144hz displays in a small form factor I think I'd really enjoy playing most games that way too.

Really though, I'm curious, I'd like to know what's actually being hinted at here.

$300? That's a pittance these days. In the time of four figure phones.

None that I know of except for tired eyes the next morning if you spent like 3+ hours a day. But that's like typical if you sit in front of a computer all day long. I've been playing VRchat for a whole year since I got my vive back in Dec 2017(and Vive pro since release) and been playing it since then, along with other shooter games like Onward and Pavlov.

I just wish for higher FOV if anything

I really hope it has higher resolution, I often struggle to see apexes clearly in AC.

I hope the "upgrade your experience" tag line means that the resolution and refresh rate have been increased compared to what's available. I want to get a vr headset but what's available seems to be almost, but not quite good enough to buy.

Is that two cameras on the front?
