Still a silly price, but at least place the blame where it belongs.

The pricing has nothing to do with nvidia.

I get it bashing nvidia is popular now on OCN, but at least get your head straight for once.
Well had 2080 Ti's MSRP been $800 instead of $1200, I'm pretty sure EVGA wouldn't have the courage to price this at $1900.

What's funny is that it has worse cooling than their Strix, which is $700 cheaper.

that depends on on how loud your willing to have your strix fans. Either way I have flashed the matrix bios onto my 4 strixs on hand. "Free upgrade" lol?

The 1080 TI was 700$ and the kingpin was 42% higher priced at 1000$.
Similar pricing would have brought it to 1700$ instead.
So no, I would expect it not to discourage them to bring such higher prices.

$2000 for just a 2080 Ti is just insane.
And for those of us in Australia or even New Zealand @ $2000 USD means our price is just shy of $2800 - "insane is an understatement for us

The US population is being kept docile for now. Living a sheltered life and kept oblivious to the realities that other countries face on a daily basis. For now...

The 2080Ti's MSRP is $999. Also if they were that cheap to consumers, Nvidia would be taking a pretty big loss on each sale.
