[TFTCentral] Acer ConceptD CP3271K P – 27" 4K and 144Hz

http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/blog/ace...-4k-and-144hz/

Announced at this years Acer event in New York, and somewhat slipping under the radar is the new ConceptD CP3271K-P display. Don’t confuse this with the fairly similarly named CM7321K, this CP3271K P model is 27″ in size and features a 3840 x 2160 resolution IPS panel, and best of all a 144Hz refresh rate!

Oh yeah! Hopefully the price will be agreeable since it's using HDR400 instead of HDR1000. It's hard enough getting 4k content, I'm not even going to try with HDR for a long while.

Finally. I understand there will ultimately be 3 choices:no HDR, HDR, and mini LED HDR. I'm in.

I'm going for the 43 inch I need the hdr1000 in my life. 32 inch is nice but I would still have to use scaling in windows.

It’s the first larger sized screen we’ve seen offering 4K @ 144Hz, which many people have been crying out for since the release of the 27″ models last year.
It is 27", not 32", see the link again.

Acer always uses last 3 numbers as size, 270,271,... = 27". Nothing new. K = 4k, U = 1440p, T = tobii, ...
Beginning letters and numbers are the series.

As far as the small letters on specific product codes go that almost no one ever lists whole... good luck deciphering that mess. "uabmrzxii" kind of crap.

27", not interested. For only gaming... yeah sure it's OK, for the rest, not really. 32" 2880p/5k any time of the day because for easy applications one can run 2880p and for demanding games switch to 1440p (perfect scaling) or use adaptive rendering quality. Sadly they can't be bothered to make any 5k since most focus on 4k due to movie industry.
