This won't counterpart zen2 at all....... so intel will be for at least six months without something on their hands? And with that prices? Good luck

"Unlocked no" means "move on, nothing to see here" in 2019

Mobile though is still were they rock, I hope aibs will take amd cpus seriously in laptops, because the actual offer is ridiculous..... the only interesting models are from apple, so.....

Zen2 very soon. Currently zero hype for Intel CPUs.

9900k gaming performance is good, but not in light of price, power draw and heat.

These look like office CPUs for Dells/HPs.

Yeah, I got excited for a bit but I don't see it either.

Enabling HT for every product (except maybe the lowest Celeron SKUs and low TDP "T" SKUs) would be a smart move to combat 7nm AMD, but since it's Intel that wouldn't happen.

Intel i9 9900K Coffee Lake @ X8 5309mhz (+47.5%)
AMD FX-8320 Vishera @ X4 5022mhz (+43.5%)
Intel i5 4690K Haswell @ X4 5013mhz (+43.2%)
AMD X4 960T Zosma @ X6 4870mhz (+62.3%)
Intel i7 6700 Skylake @ X4 4709mhz (+38.5%)
Intel i5 6400 Skylake @ X4 4588mhz (+69.9%)

Maybe he meant the pentiums.

The original Coffee-Lake Pentiums (Pentium Gold; no non-gold offerings as far as I can tell) already had 2c/4t. OP should probably edit the post.

Really wasn't all that exciting the first time they released coffee lake, this one seems way less exciting with Zen 2 around the corner.
