Surely if AMD could hit a home run like that against Nvidia they would (and would charge for it)
AMD has a much longer game to play in this market than NV. NV is focused on servers, while AMD is focused on their consoles. Nothing truly innovative is coming in the GPU space until after said consoles. No, it probably won't be as hardcore as 680>>GK110 Titan/780, but I'm hoping its close.

yep, quite curious to see how AMD responds to AMD Sony, and AMD Microsoft... Since they already know whats in the consoles, they know best what to serve next in the GPU space. I would assume NV is privy to this information as well.
at the least, you can guarantee all post console GPUs to be 4k120Hz supporting cards. (HDMI 2.1 and whatever DP standard that is)
Has that addon card in place of an extra SSD nonsense been put to bed yet? Seems like that would be the only hope for a $500 console to run anything well in 4K....
