not a damn thing worth buying until the flagship after the consoles.

you and I have had this convo before, it was just so long ago that we couldn't put a finger on it yet.

Did anyone see that these are going to be unlocked?

As a 2080ti and 1660ti owner, I have no problems with new releases coming out so soon. Quicker the better

I've been putting up old cards on eBay for years and as long as you provide the purchase receipt and original packaging, you get 80-90% back.

Also got 3 free games with the 2080ti- i'll sell it a week or two before something new comes out and be happy to pay the price difference for a upgrade

Are we really going to have to wait for the new console generation to have the new ports mainstreamed in the PC space? I saw the 'refresh' of the Asus 27" 4k and it still seems to miss the mark for me, despite widely being considered as a great gaming monitor, for this very reason.

Did you do the math? The only difference between the two sides are what features you want, otherwise performance is negligible. I'm assuming here Green doesnt do any price cuts.

Yeah, probably no price cuts... Possibile higher price on 2080Ti if it is true.. In my opinion Navi is good with 5700 but I'm not appreciate 5700XT.. But that is my opinion

unlocked? you mean voltage unlocked? seems unlikely.

you can thank this forum for Project Green Light, so i must be reading "unlocked" incorrectly, & I can't watch the video @ work. Maybe the KPE 2080tiS will be unl0cked.

or if they really are all unlocked, it just shows how concerned Nvidia is so concerned they're taking the brakes off for the first time since 6 series.

and yes, that new ASUS 4K refresh proves that we have to wait until after the consoles for anyone to properly adapt 4K120 standard. The hardware exists, they just have no real reason to sell it to us yet.

Wonder if SUPER will have proper ports for 4K120? If not - total joke.

I'd actually buy a 2080tiS if it was voltage unlocked, I'd try to convince everyone I know to purchase one, just so NV can see how important these things are to us.
