If something appears too good to be true, it probably is.

Agreed. If there is 2080ti Super, it can only be what Titan RTX is currently, minus half the VRAM. So full fat 102 chip with 12GB of VRAM.

However, regarding memory pooling, that works already on current 2080Ti, you know that, right? So it would be kinda weird, if they disabled it for Ti Super :-D

Yes but there isn't any reference about a 2080Ti Super...probably if Nvidia do that will be at the End 2019.....the new launch is mid-july and not 21 June

That would be a disappointing 2080 Super compared to the 2070/2060 super cards. They get a bigger Cuda core jump from their base versions.
I mean Nvidia can't go higher than 3072 because that is the full fat TU104, but still meh.

They should have taken a TU102 with fewer CUDA cores than the RTX 2080 Ti instead for the RTX 2080 Super.

Yep. Say 3584, like 1080Ti. Now that would be...super :-)
At least in comparison to current 2080.

yeah that would be sweet. 3584 + 11GB GDDR6 + slight increase in tensor and RT cores and you can have a product at the Original 2080 price point ($799 I believe) that makes a lot more sense.
Drop the normal RTX 2080 to $549

you can thank this forum for Project Green Light, so i must be reading "unlocked" incorrectly, & I can't watch the video @ work. Maybe the KPE 2080tiS will be unl0cked.

or if they really are all unlocked, it just shows how concerned Nvidia is so concerned they're taking the brakes off for the first time since 6 series.

and yes, that new ASUS 4K refresh proves that we have to wait until after the consoles for anyone to properly adapt 4K120 standard. The hardware exists, they just have no real reason to sell it to us yet.

Wonder if SUPER will have proper ports for 4K120? If not - total joke.

I'd actually buy a 2080tiS if it was voltage unlocked, I'd try to convince everyone I know to purchase one, just so NV can see how important these things are to us.
i'm pretty sure they mean no SM units disabled.

you can check the cards (table towards the bottom) on tpu's chips specs:
https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/nvidia-tu106.g875

https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/nvidia-tu104.g854

https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/nvidia-tu102.g813

they put the 2080/2070 supers in place holders. really only those two cards are now "unlocked" and well the 2080ti will have the same as the rtx titan.

Remember the golden rule of statistics: A personal sample size of one is a sufficient basis upon which to draw universal conclusions.

Has Nvidia said anything since the tweet? Seems to be a lot more speculation than information regarding this "Super" thing, I thought we would have heard something by now.
