Price too high I will not buy , just wait for someone upgrading and buy their old one .
My wallet comes first !
Out of curiosity, what would be a good used price for a Radeon VII to a price conscious buyer?

It won't take long for Navi cards to get a price cut if/when Nvidia drops RTX prices. AMD is just trying to make profit margin where they can... 50 cents at a time... lol

The Office quote. "Yeah, well, you steal a thousand Post-it notes at 50 cents a piece, and, you know, you've made a profit... margin, you're going to run us out of business Pam."

I have a big bang house. I had all the materials for my new house brought in and dumped on a vacant lot. I took a stick of dynamite, lit the fuse on fire and tossed it into the pile of materials. BOOM went the explosion and when the dust settled I had a new house! Amazing isn't it?

I am in Australia-- but probably about $700-800 Aussie dollars used - less if possible .

Dunno which driver versions running on both tests but this is promising, I don't know which engine uses WWZ btw

I don't know why we'll have the thermal graphyte pad on the gpu just like VII............ initially this seemed a workaround for the not-planar surface of vii and its 4 hbm2 stacks.....but on a flat gpu w/o hbms like navi? 7nm are very dense, so this means that from an OEM pov its cheaper the graphite pad instead of grade a thermal paste?

They're just registering all possible names so that nobody else does.

Otherwise, if the models were actually real, we'd be in for some real milking:

RX 5700 - $379
RX 5700 XT - $449

RX 5750 - $549
RX 5750 XT - $619

RX 5800 - $689
RX 5800 XT - $759

RX 5850 - $829
RX 5850 XT - $899

RX 5900 - $969
RX 5900 XT - $1109

RX 5950 - $1179
RX 5950 XT - $1249

Milking!

AMD already told us that the low end is now $500 and if you want anything else prepare to pay.

And don't fret we won't be competing with Nvidia, no we are not colluding on prices, we'll just slot them in the empty ~$20 price brackets Nvidia leaves vacant in their ever expanding milking stacks.
