I think it's high time that EVGA starts to re-enter the AMD market. Imagine this, for THREADRIPPER!!! It's quite outside of my price range, but if they had an AM4 equivalent to the Z390 DARK..... I'd be in for that!

indeed, because we all know the DIY market is going for Ryzen, so this should motivate them.

Has anyone figured out how they wired up the PCIe slots yet? Doubt there is a 8747 chip, so assume they are breaking it down a good bit, but how is the question in my mind.

Of course, it would be nice if there was one for if you really wanted to load up the slots with cards.

To be fair, with the number of cores in a single chip these days, you can't really get much in the way of benefit in the target market for these boards (i.e. enthusiasts). We're passed "diminishing returns" on that, fast entering "more harm than good" phase… ????

Would be nice to stick dual 16 cores in one though and have double the memory channels and double the PCI-E lanes.

Definitely interested in more PCIe lanes, but don't forget you lose some to the interconnect in a dual socket system. Not to mention the limitations of which CPU has access to which slot. It's not a clean cut "double the lanes" deal…
