It makes no sense for EVGA to remain intel-only. Intel is also making GPUs so it shouldn't be a problem of Nvidia being stingy. It makes absolutely no sense, intel motherboards aren't selling well right now, we learned that from multiple vendors saying as much.

Their Dark boards have great hardware but the bios is ******** and not everyone is looking to loose ram slots for casual clocks (what most of the buyers end up doing anyway)Also that ******** transferrable warranty gimmick marketing crap. Get real evga warranty process is one of the most pain in the butt these days with the registration, receipt upload blah blah or marking it down as 2nd owned blah blah. Serial number + warranty is all it should be like their top 3 competitors.
Ehh, nah. I don't think so. Sure there GPU coolers aren't light years ahead of others, but who's are.

But man there CS is pretty great. Try calling Asus and getting a human on the phone, and that in about 1 minute. Then getting an RMA started in a two minute conversation. Yeah, not happening.

THe warranty registration, and receipt upload, really, takes about 5 minutes.

Sure turned me off to see these silly high prices CS or not
I'd usually now days just up for the local instore warranties way easier than dealing with any manufacture.

knew something was up when those RMA horror stories started popping up.

sad, I hope they rebound. They were The Best for so many years in so many areas. I remember speaking to an american human @ 2:00AM on Xmas eve to RMA a titan once.

I called Asus tech support and the CS rep told me I was pronouncing "Asus" wrong, and that it's "A-soos" and I can't be taken serious while saying things wrong. I had a good laugh over that.

I've only ever purchased brand new units from EVGA. cuz US warranty center. Show me someone claiming any of their competition is even close in CSC quality, and i'll show you someone in denial.

it took 2 people & 5 hours to get HP to replace the screen on a defective laptop that came in a lot of 50...

BRAND NEW, HAS ONSITE EXTENDED WARRANTY!!!

what the literal.

they aren't gpu makers though, thank gord.

GOOD!

hope they learn a lesson, they are not corsair - even corsair isn't corsair. bunch of cheap, not even mediocre, peripherals and cases that have outrageous pricing.

product managers that turn a nice looking keyboard w/a whole bunch of bells and whistles that some enthusiasts screamed for, teased YEARS AGO, just to release a junk cherry red w/crappy LED display. dropping the classy's in favor of raising the price of the FTW and the more outrageously priced kingpins. their PSU line has turned to complete crap outsourcing to several OEMs anymore.

go back to mostly releasing reference cards w/third party coolers for the same MSRP, one decent budget, one high end motherboards and forget the rest.

[/rant]

Remember the golden rule of statistics: A personal sample size of one is a sufficient basis upon which to draw universal conclusions.
Upload the computer to Dropbox and provide a link to it so others may download it to examine and give advice for repairs.
