evga product manager JacobF has confirmed the layoffs.

EVGA US new support hours 6AM PT to 10PM PT, 7 days a week
Whoever submitted that time to videocardz.com is spot on. Poor design decisions on new products and micro managing employee's. Last year i noticed customers complaining about warranty being denied due to blemish or scratch on the product. If the customer went public, evga would do a 180.

EVGA should leave manufacturing of cases and gaming peripherals to companies like Corsairs, CoolerMater, Logitech and SteelSeries. You know, companies that release newer versions and listen to customers feedback. News Flash for you EVGA, people do not like tacky branding all over the product they pay good money for. (lookup Corsair Gaming logo for more information)

Exclusively sells Nvidia video cards and they are not selling. Accordingly, many people are not being encouraged to upgrade or put new systems together, so EVGA can't sell their PSUs, mobos, etc... Greed begetting layoffs. It was not hard to see this happening as it did with some of the other vendors as predicted a few years back. Good on them, sad that people are loosing jobs, but these companies could rot for all I care. EVGA by way of BFG.

I'd be super pleased if EVGA started selling AMD kit. Whenever I buy Nvidia cards I usually go with EVGA, would be cool to see another option in the GPU space for AMD.

I'm more interested in their motherboards and power supplys than their videocards, especially the three slot ones.

I don't think that's possible. If I'm not mistaken, it's what happened to XFX (originally they where a nvidia vendor). Depends on their current agreement.

Yeah, NVIDIA would probably cut them off if they started selling AMD anything. NVIDIA doesn't seem to care much about their AIB partners and would likely be content to only sell founders edition cards if they weren't afraid of community backlash.

Component History:
Athlon 950 Thunderbird > Athlon 64 LE-1620 > Athlon x2 4850e > Phenom II x3 720BE > Core i5-2500K > Ryzen 7 1700
GeForce2 MX400 > Radeon HD 4650 > Radeon HD 5770 > Radeon HD 6850 > Radeon HD 6950 > Radeon R9 290 > GeForce GTX 1080 Ti
Current Devices:
Ryzen Workstation - 13" Macbook Pro - iPhone X - Galaxy Note 5 - Fire HD 7
Audio:
Kef Q100 Mains - Micca MB42X Surrounds - Outlaw Audio Ultra-X12 Subwoofer - Yamaha RX-V675 AVR - Fidelio X2 Headphones

You think the AIB companies who sell exclusively AMD cards are better? Yeah right.
