People vote with your wallet. I complained about 1080 Ti and still got it.

The gpu market makes me sad 😞

I still think navi isn't total wash when compared to the competition. But its not enough to really go over the top either.

Its not like vrs intel that's for sure where ryzen is a hands down better buy at this point.

If benchmarks, pricing and availability is good amd can still move a fair share of this. Nvidia still sells on blind mindshare even with such a let down that RTX is.

Pricing is not cool though this hurts too many budget builds for people trying to get into pc gaming.

AMD can take a good chunk of enthusiasts by doing something incredibly simple.

MORE LANES AT LESS COST.

Specially in the era of NVMe & multi-GPU.

Those of us in that category wanna run both cards @ 16x, + multiple NVMe. whoever sells that to us for the lowest $ will get our money.

Blind mindshare? Nope the RTX 2070 is the better product for the money due to features. The GTX 1080 Ti is faster than the 2070, Radeon VII and RX 5700 XT when it comes to gaming. Like many people stated could still be purchased new for $499.99 with a warranty.

Features might not hold for much if raw game performance at lower price is better. At the end of the day that is what matters the most. X% @ $XXX

And like most I bought my 1080ti on ebay last year and will sit on it probably for far too long.

I bought my R9 290X at launch for $550 CAD. Back then USD = CAD. Fury X and 980 Ti came out and they where prices ~ $900 CAD price. They offered 35% better gaming perf. Waited 2 years and nothing. GTX 1080 came out and not it's 50% faster but still ~ $900 CAD. 1080 Ti came out ~ $1000 CAD and was 2x faster. But wait, look at the price. 2x the price for 2x performance after 4 years of waiting. The US had it a bit better. What really changed is most people are still going to get the same performance increase but they will drag their GPU longer and pay double for their next GPU. For you 2x faster 1080 Ti you will still have to pay 2080 Ti price so 2x perf for 2x price.

Well, this is very kind from them, they are pretty saving billions r&d dollars that nvidia pumped in the RT thing backing the technology too...is anywhere a list of RT titles incoming? I just don't recall maybe but cyberpunk 2077 is not having it, right?
