Seems legit to me. "Delay" implies that it ever had a release date; it did not. Nothing is yet confirmed besides Lisa saying that it is still a thing.
Analysts are predicting AMD could hit as high as 10% server market share by 2020. Do you have any idea how many CPUs that is? In two years, Epyc has managed to claw AMD up to about 3% (pre-Ryzen they were sub 1%). In 6-12 months, they are predicting that AMD will up-to triple
They need every CPU die they can get to pass validation into servers so they can make some real money, and I do not blame them at all.
I am waiting for a nice 16 core TR3 though. Obviously I would like it sooner rather than later, but I am not looking forward to what the next TR motherboards will cost given what X570 is like and it isn't like my 1950x is suddenly too slow. If TR3 is out by next tax return season I will be happy.
