It'll be interesting to see if other companies follow Gigabyte's lead in selling binned chips. If they do it would significantly hinder SL.

Sort of. Well, yes, but not separately. They are selling binned 9900K's as part of an expensive motherboard bundle.

Why would he when they sent him an already over clocked free sample. That gigabyte setup isn't a bad deal if those parts are what you're after. Saves a few hundred dollars over buying the mobo and a binned processor separately.

I like to let fate decide if I deserve a good or bad sample.
