Intel did it one when the web was young back in 2006 with Anthlon 64. They should not get away with it this time.

Intel is doing anything to retain the 'mindshare'. With AMD's Gen3 looming and no sight yet of their 14++++ replacement, this a way for them to stay relevant.

Relevancy not just to consumers but more so to shareholders.

Wait, wait, wait...

Intel made Ryan Shrout chief of anything? The guy can't even manage percentages properly! This guy looked so damn stupid every time he opened his mouth on his video reviews or Twitter it isn't even funny.

I get that the enthusiast community pushed him to the spotlight because it is starving for content but holy hell, this seems a perfect example of Peter principle.

If Intel is pulling these tricks against Ryzen 3000, where they could honestly still claim some wins, I wonder what kind of behind the scenes manoeuvres they are pulling against EPYC 2, because in that case AMD has a practically no contest slam dunk on their hands. Maybe will.i.am can write a song to get people distracted or something.

Exactly. There are no online stores with this thing available. Especially since the 3600 is taking the mainstream gamer crowd. Yields can't be THAT bad.

But it must be the case.
The best cores goes to the higher Epic and threadripper.
Everything that is left goes to 3950x and lower etc....

Yields are not bad. Its just the limited amount of those models being made. Ofc AMD is going to made a lot more of the mainstream R5 3600, than the 3900X, since its going to sell more.
