Can people complain now about Navi being hot and loud?

Nope, seems like that issue is solved now.

But it does appear that AMD should have just let AIB partners handle the launch so the cards would have had a better reputation from the start. Seems that at only $10 more Sapphire released the 5700XT as it should have been released to begin with.

There still seems to be a "bug" that causes games to crash without warning. Hopefully AMD gets that fixed now.

I have a big bang house. I had all the materials for my new house brought in and dumped on a vacant lot. I took a stick of dynamite, lit the fuse on fire and tossed it into the pile of materials. BOOM went the explosion and when the dust settled I had a new house! Amazing isn't it?

Nope. So now they'll keep pushing the narrative of power draw and how it doesn't beat the 2080Ti at $200 and also doesn't have ray tracing so therefore it's a complete and utter failure and no one ever should buy it.

Seriously, which one do i choose!?! I don't have showcase rig, so the RGB cards are pointless, but the other cards are fair game. Sux xfire is a moot tech.

heh, sounds like how I expected the AMD subreddit to respond. They were in general very critical of the previous gens like Vega, Polaris and Fury. Navi, though, has been surprisingly well received.

Anyone know if there will be an AIO version from a company? Tempted to get one but not looking for an air cooled version, to much power and to hot.

Vega was a failure though really, to hot, to power hungry and far to expensive. Navi would've been the same if AMD stuck with HBM, thankfully they didn't.

Really the 5700XT is a damn good card, coming close to the 2070 Super for $210 less, when comparing the most expensive 5700XT ($699) to the cheapest 2070 Super ($909) at least here in Aus.

Not the HBM, the Vega architecture was power hungry, 295 - 300w for jack all performance.
