Yeah after posting this I looked around and seems the stock cooler isn't terrible. I am mostly concerned with noise. If I can get it at a decent level and performance still be solid I will probably just leave it alone.

Going to see how things go with the card before I make a decision. I know when I have a blower 1080ti that thing would scream.

I agree. But they're new here, so, maybe they'll improve over time. I really like the look of the Red Dragon and the Thicc II, although I'd buy a Pulse over anything else at this point.
