Seems more like marketing of the past where each maker throw tantrum with each other, maybe Asus is a bit too forward with not only brand name stated, but brand product stated too.

Are you a typical 2019 PC hardware consumer?
You have a company using lies, flat out lies, to discredit its competition (which on top of unethical, is flat out illegal and a court slam dunk in a whole lot of countries, though apparently not yours?); and your response is "more like marketing" and "maybe"? Well done dude, well done; they deserve you and you deserve them

Pride, honour and purity.

What even is the best X570 board right now? When i inevitably build a Zen 2 PC when high end Navi launches i want to get a good board and was looking at the Taichi as when i played around with the X370 Taichi a couple years ago and a 1700 i was impressed with that board. Currently using a Z270 Crosshair Hero, can't really complain about it but i don't really have any brand loyalty to Asus at all, just want the best board for the money in the $2-300 range.

C8H for 360-380 price range.

But you can buy older flagship X470 which is a better financial decision since not many people need pcie4.

I'm going with Gigabyte.
I do own an Asrock Z77 now and no complaints.

This is Asus trying to take advantage of mentally challenged motherboard shoppers, the sad part is that the slides would probably work on a lot of people.

Some of those slides make me want to waste $220 replacing my Asus x470I with the new Gigabyte x570 itx board.
