If you want a nice powerful 120mm x 38mm fan, consider Delta's PFR1212DHE

https://www.digikey.com/product-deta...706-ND/3078696

254.3 CFM
36.5252 mmH2O
7400 RPM

All maxing out a nice quiet 68.5 dB(A).

Some nice specs on there no?

Jokes aside though seriously Delta is hard to beat for pure performance.

or.. at 140mm if anyone is interested. However, they do also have 120mm mounting holes as well.

https://www.techpowerup.com/review/s...-fhp141/4.html

I have two of these. They move a crap ton of air on the silent mode (500-1200rpm).

$25

There are so many pages of them you have to choose which one, there are 2000-3000 rpm ones, there are over 3000rpm ones, they have a lot.

Want a 172mm 51mm tall 5000rpm fan, they have it. Too big? Ok 120mm 38mm tall 7700rpm (yeah lol). They have from slow to insane, small and large.
People are buying those Typhoons and Deltas, surely they can get any other Nidec too somewhere.

Nowhere, don't need such fans. But other people buy those Nidec GTs, Deltas, etc. somewhere don't they. Or sometimes you can get samples or your company can get samples, etc. Some electronics parts (not computer parts shops, but shops where you can buy resistors, capacitors, inductors, wires, cables, connectors, transistors, ICs, fans and all other DIY or repair electronics parts) shops may sell such fans but this highly depends on what fans/brands a shop wants to offer. Locally for me the two major (or old known) shops sell SUNON fans, not Nidec. A different fan maker, with a single type of fan having a 90 page catalog of models and specs to choose from.

Those Nidec GTs are often resold for profit by someone who bought a lot of them, so they put them up on Amazon, eBay, ... Yeah those coolerguys from Amazon have a store linked above, there is a 38mm screamer too, just a restickered fan made by someone else and plenty other brands of fans in 38mm.

Nidec makes a crap ton of various fans.

If all else fails you can always get most stuff from Aliexpress, Alibaba, etc.
Yep, Nidec 120x38mm 5300rpm right there on Aliexpress. Not that hard to get, half the price of 1 Noctua fan, shipped. If you must have a 38mm screamer.

this, just without the Scythe name. I've just never had to look into it. I highly recommend folks do what I do. Get a bulk order of your favorite fan & enjoy. Not much changes, and nothings really getting "better" or "cheaper" they're just attaching LEDs n stuff.

R.I.P. Zawarudo, may you OC angels' wings in heaven.
If something appears too good to be true, it probably is.

I Love the ML140's and ML120's. I have 18 120mm, and 12 140mm, use only them in 3 of my Rigs, they work great for airflow and for Static Pressure on Rads. Best of all you set them to 1200RPM and they are completely silent, but still provide high enough performance to cool under full load. Only thing Better I have found is Noctua's, but Got these at a steal I couldn't pass up, and love em.
