Doesn't really matter if it needs more vcore people are going way to crazy over this. Temps+vcore matter as long as the temps are safe you are fine(up to a point).

I'm sure even 1.55V is safe as long as its just 1 to 2 core loads. When my 3700X is under load its around 1.325V or so.

Mine too.....idle yea...voltages are a bit high...but with the balanced power plan...complete idle...I see less than 1v.

True, but they can't really reliably find a bug without source code.

If AMD gave them the source code for the BIOS' then, sure, mobo makers can go to town and really fix issues.

Is Auto means Off? Anyway. i ran both HWMonitor and HWINFO64 side-by-side while my stock 3600 readings are different for clocks. BUS at 99.8 and the former is showing closer to advertised boost clock. I did run CPUZ bench ones.

I'm guessing Auto is PBO enabled.

EDIT: According to Steve at GN, Auto is supposed to be disabled. I'll be honest....AMD has this a bit confused...there is PBO, and PBO2(which is what the end user has some control over). At least that's my understanding of it...lol

Do you have any link that support or shed some light on this, or are you just exaggerating because you hate asus for some reason?

AMD just finished paying off a class action lawsuit because 2 shared cores are not 2 cores.
If AMD release a bios update that fix the issue through increasing vcore because the original vcore couldn't handle their advertised boost clocks, be sure someone is planning to put another class action lawsuit about it. Safe or not.
