i don't think we'll see anyone drop actual hdmi2.1 ports until after the consoles drop, or just before.

On the TV side the LGs already sport hdmi 2.1. It is the video card side that is slacking.

For now yes you are stuck with 60Hz with VRR. Once an HDMI 2.1 card launches then it will fully unlock 4k120Hz.

yes still at 60. well, unless you want (4:4:4) HDR; then at 30.
