"LG E9 and C9 models, ranging in size from 55 to 75-inches, will receive G-SYNC Compatible firmware updates later this year. Simultaneously, we’ll release a new GeForce Game Ready Driver, enabling GeForce RTX and GeForce GTX 16-Series gamers to connect their PCs via HDMI to validated G-SYNC Compatible LG TV"
About time! Now there is no reason for a lot of us to buy any high end gaming monitor over an OLED TV.
inb4 people whining saying nVidia's G-Sync Compatible should be called FreeSync. Even though G-Sync Compatible is a unique nVidia hardware/software solution that utilizes DisplayPort Adaptive-Sync protocols just like AMD's hardware/software solution FreeSync and Qualcomm's QSync. With G-Sync at least we know the panels are properly tested.
a 55" C9 currently costs $1600, nowhere near $5000 lol.
ah, the link in the article/blog links to the 77" model.
but, still for a $300 card?
not this guy, just saying.
